Nobody 2

If you liked the first Nobody movie, you're in for another wild ride with Nobody 2. Bob Odenkirk is back as Hutch Mansell, the seemingly average guy with a not-so-average past. This time, Hutch is trying to do something simple: take his family on a relaxing vacation to a small-town amusement park. But of course, things don’t go as planned. Let’s just say the tagline “Nobody ruins his vacation” is both a warning and a promise.
The movie blends action, comedy, and a bit of family drama, all wrapped up in a tight 89-minute runtime. Hutch’s attempt to reconnect with his wife and kids quickly spirals into chaos when they cross paths with a shady park owner, a corrupt sheriff, and a dangerous crime boss. What starts as a family getaway turns into a full-blown showdown, complete with boat chases, shootouts, and some seriously creative fight scenes.
Directed by Timo Tjahjanto in his English-language debut, Nobody 2 keeps the energy high and the punches flying. The cast is stacked with returning favorites like Connie Nielsen, RZA, and Christopher Lloyd, plus new faces like Sharon Stone, Colin Hanks, and John Ortiz. Everyone brings something fun to the table, and the chemistry between the characters—especially the Mansell family—is a big part of what makes the movie work.
Critics have mostly given it a thumbs-up, praising Odenkirk’s performance and the film’s ability to live up to the original. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but it delivers exactly what fans of the first movie are looking for: gritty action, dark humor, and a surprisingly heartfelt story about family.
If you’re into action comedies with a bit of a quirky edge, Nobody 2 is definitely worth checking out. It’s not for those looking for a deep, emotional drama or a slow-burn thriller—this is fast, loud, and unapologetically fun. But if you enjoy watching a reluctant hero take on bad guys with style (and a bit of sarcasm), you’ll have a blast.
Just don’t expect Hutch to stay on vacation for long.
